  1. Social media plugins from Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter and Instagram

Based on Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter f of GDPR, we use social media plugins from the social networks Facebook, Google, Twitter and Instagram on our website to make our company better known. The advertising purpose behind this is to be assumed to be a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. The responsibility for data protection-compliant operation must be guaranteed by the respective provider.

a) Shariff method

We integrate these plugins using the so-called Shariff method in order to protect visitors to our website as best as possible.

With Shariff, the connection to the social network server is only established and data such as the IP address of your computer and the website you are visiting are transmitted to the respective social network when you click on the button (e.g. "SHARE" or "LIKE") of the social network. This gives the operator of the respective social network the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an account with the respective social network or are currently logged in there. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a server of the social network and stored there.

If you are logged in to the respective social network, this can directly assign your visit to our website to your account on the social network. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the "SHARE" button, the corresponding information is also sent directly to a server of the respective social network and stored there. The information is also published on the respective social network and displayed to your friends there.

The social networks can use this information for the purposes of advertising, market research and tailoring their pages to your needs. For this purpose, the social networks create usage, interest and relationship profiles, e.g. to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements displayed to you on the social network, to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website and to provide other services associated with the use of the social network.

If you do not want the social networks to assign the data collected via our website to your social network account, you must log out of the respective social network before visiting our website.

If you access the Google Maps component integrated into our website, Google will save a cookie on your device via your Internet browser. In order to display our location and create directions, your user settings and data, which may include in particular the IP address and location data, are processed. We have embedded videos from YouTube on this website, belonging to Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”), which are stored on http://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website.

These are all integrated in "extended data protection mode", which means that no data about you as a user is transferred to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos will the data specified in point 3 a) of the declaration be transferred. We have no influence on this data transfer.

By visiting a page on our website that contains corresponding plug-ins, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data specified under point 3 a) of this declaration is transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not want your YouTube profile to be assigned, you must log out before accessing the corresponding subpage of our website. YouTube stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or needs-based design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to revoke the creation of these usage profiles, and you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.

Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by YouTube can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de . There you will also find further information on your rights and setting options for protecting your privacy.

  1. Google Adwords

We also use the marketing tool Google Adwords, provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, ("Google"), to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites using advertising materials (so-called Google Adwords). We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data from the advertising campaigns. In doing so, we pursue the interest of showing you advertising that is of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs.

These advertisements are delivered by Google via so-called "ad servers". For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, which can be used to measure certain parameters for measuring success, such as the display of ads or clicks by users. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Adwords will save a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. The unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be contacted) are usually saved as analysis values for this cookie.

These cookies enable Google to recognize your Internet browser. If a user visits certain pages on an Adwords customer's website and the cookie stored on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Adwords customer is assigned a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across Adwords customers' websites. We ourselves do not collect or process any personal data in the advertising measures mentioned. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. Based on these evaluations, we can recognize which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of advertising material; in particular, we cannot identify users based on this information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected through the use of this tool by Google and therefore inform you according to our current level of knowledge: By integrating AdWords Conversion, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on one of our advertisements. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out and save your IP address.

You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) by setting your browser software accordingly. In particular, suppressing third-party cookies means that you will not receive any ads from third-party providers; b) by deactivating cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com”, https://www.google.de/settings/ads. This setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies; c) by deactivating interest-based ads from providers who are part of the “About Ads” self-regulation campaign via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices. This setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies; d) by permanently deactivating them in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers using the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. Please note that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this offer to their full extent.

This service uses cookies to optimize and analyze your use of our website. The information on your use of our website generated through these cookies is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. 16. Facebook Custom Audiences

The website also uses the remarketing function “Custom Audiences” from Facebook Inc. (“Facebook”). This allows website users to be shown interest-based advertisements (“Facebook Ads”) when they visit the social network Facebook or other websites that also use the process. We therefore pursue the interest of showing you advertising that is of interest to you in order to make our website more interesting for you.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the Facebook server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected through the use of this tool by Facebook and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge: By integrating Facebook Custom Audiences, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding web page on our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Facebook service, Facebook can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Facebook or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out and save your IP address and other identification features.

The “Facebook Custom Audiences” function can be deactivated [here] and for logged-in users at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads#_ .

The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter f of GDPR. Further information on data processing by Facebook can be found at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy .

17. Integration of the Trusted Shop Trustbadge

The Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated into this website to display our Trusted Shops seal of approval and the collected reviews as well as to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers after an order.

The Trustbadge and the services advertised with it are an offer from Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne.

When you access the Trustbadge, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains information such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the access. This access data is not evaluated and is automatically overwritten no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the site.

Further personal data will only be transferred to Trusted Shops if you have consented to this, if you decide to use Trusted Shops products after completing an order or if you have already registered to use them. In this case, the contractual agreement concluded between you and Trusted Shops applies.
